Vernon
leads a very interesting and full life. Jannie is overseas at the
moment and as a result there is no snooker at Jannie’s
place this Wednesday. When I phoned him on Monday morning he was
on his way to the Swartkop Country Club where he was meeting up
with his 2 brothers. His one brother Neville was going to play
golf and the other Ian was meeting him for snooker. They would
then have lunch together.
This
weekend he is going the 72nd anniversary of the Sea Scouts at
Kosmos in Hartebeespoort with his friend and fellow Lion Dennis
Vismus who is a charter President of Arcadia Lions Club.
