The annual Camp & Fishing weekend was held on 21-22 March 2009 at the Vaalkop Dam Nature Reserve. Ten boys were treated with new fishing rods and reels where after lessons from experienced angles followed.

The Pretoria South Lions Club has 26 members and meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 19:00 for 19:30 at 9 Umgazi Road, Menlo Park, Pretoria.
